About Us

Loveridges have now been in business for over 40 years. Started by Graham & Joan Loveridge in 1964, after Graham was made redundant from Hoover Ltd, for whom he had worked for many years. This at the time was a clever move by the American owned Hoover, after training probably the best sales and service force in the country, they gave them a small amount of redundancy and the offer of becoming an authorised dealer, which about 80% of the ex employers took up. With a second hand morris van, cramped workshop and a lot of hard work, Loveridges was started. Sadly for us Mrs Joan Loveridge passed into the presence of her Lord in January 2004.

For the amount of time the business has been trading it hasn’t grown rapidly, but it established long standing association with well-known companies such as, Miele, Siemens, Bosch, AEG, Hotpoint, Cannon and many more, not to mention reputable insurance companies, housing associations, schools, letting agencies and local authorities which we supply and maintain products for.

We now sell, install and repair: Freestanding Cookers, Ranges, built in ovens, hobs, (gas and electric, being Corgi registered) Dishwashers, refrigeration, washing machines and tumble dryers.

We cover all of Somerset with our services and currently have stores in High St, Street and High St Worle, Weston-S-Mare. 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank those, without whom, our business wouldn’t exist.

Thanks go to the staff past and present. Our service engineers, who tirelessly dash around, keeping Somerset cooking and washing. Our retail staff, which do an excellent job finding the right products for our customers, and keeping them coming back. Our administration team, who work endlessly behind the scenes, booking up service calls, sourcing spares for the engineers, troubleshooting and basically keeping the business running as smoothly as possible. Also, our continued thanks go to our suppliers and associates. We will endeavor, God willing, to improve our service even more, and find the best deals on perfect, graded and end of line products, so you the customer, benefits. We have learnt from the majority of our customers that we have a good reputation and we hope to maintain that in the coming years.
