General

Persons ordering from www.loveridges.co.uk must be 18 years or over. This site is designed to be used by customers in BA,TA,BS & DT post code areas. These terms and conditions do not effect your statutory rights, These terms and conditions apply to all of the transactions carried out on www.loveridges.co.uk  Placing orders on this site indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms are subject to change, changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date on page). Please read them and keep a copy for future reference.

Orders

Orders placed with the Loveridges web site are subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions. Orders placed on our web site will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail, and all telephone orders will be acknowledged verbally at the time of order. Please note that electronic and verbal acknowledgements do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance. Your order will be accepted and the contract between you and Loveridges will take place upon dispatch of the goods. Orders placed will indicate acceptance of Terms and conditions.

Description and product information accuracy

Specifications, images and other information of products etc on the Loveridges website have either been made accessible by distributors manufacturer's, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. The intention of Loveridges is that all information provided on products should be as accurate and up to date as possible. Loveridges cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. Actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual. Images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Full detailed specifications are available from the manufacturer's brochures or their websites. All products are subject to upgrade or change at the manufacturers discretion. We will supply the product as supplied to us by the manufacturer.

Payment and Price

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices or the imposition of any taxes or duties. Prices may be subject to change if the price published for the goods is wrong. In all cases we will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. Our prices may be different within our stores and local press to those published on Loveridges website. Additional fees will be charged for disposal of old appliances and installation

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Electron, American Express and Delta as forms of payment. You may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 14 days. On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number, the address and phone number your credit card holder has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorization of your credit card has been properly received.

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason, we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Due to the limited availability of items purchased in our special offer section we cannot guarantee fulfillment of your order. In the event we are unable to provide the product/s we will refund any money already paid for them. We will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery Charges

All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges. The delivery charge will be calculated and confirmed at the checkout. Delivery prices quoted are for BA,TA,BS & DT post code areas, out side of these areas will incur additional charges (e-mail us for a quotation) and may also experience delivery delays. AM and Saturday deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges. These can be obtained upon application.

Delivery Times

Most Loveridges stock items are delivered within 1-7 working days and items from suppliers 7-14 working days from clearance of payment. We will endeavor to deliver goods within the times stated. On occasions goods are subject to availability and delays in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of Loveridges control. Any times & dates we specify for the delivery of products are approximate, if Loveridges staff considers the effecting of delivery not to be practical for whatever reason we reserve the right to not deliver the goods until such measures are taken to effect a practical and safe delivery within the changes made, Loveridges shall not except any liability for any loss, costs, damages, charges, expenses, illness or injury caused by any delay of the delivery of the goods. If our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 18 days for dispatch of the goods. For delays of more than 18 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.

Optional Instalation Service

Optional Installation service is somtimes available and is to be arranged by telephone on 08001976677. This service is covered by Loveridges repair/ Installation terms and conditions which are available upon request.

Risk

As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

Time Limitation for Notification of Claims

If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make record it on the  delivery  with note (preferably with the name and signature of the delivery person) and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 3 working days from delivery.  It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the delivery  note. Any shortages must be noted on the delivery note (preferably with the name and signature of the delivery person)and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 3 working days from delivery. If we supplied you with an incorrect item. (not product on order) it is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied, within 3 working days from delivery. Loveridges will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 5 working days from the expected delivery date.

Product Guarantees - General

The customer agrees to install and operate the appliance in accordance with the manufacturers instructions (removing packaging and transit bolts Etc) All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the manufacturers guarantee for a period of 12 months unless otherwise stated. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. In addition routine maintenance (recirculation filters, drain filters) consumables (plug fuses, cables, batteries, etc.), cosmetic damage and corrosion are not covered. The full cost of the service calls will be charged if the engineers find no mechanical or electrical fault with your product.  For the customers convienience it is recommended that if a fault occurs within this period that the manufacturers own service department be contacted direct.This does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns and Refunds Policy

You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from delivery. You must notify us by phone of your intention to cancel within 7 working days from delivery. After notification we will issue you a returns number that you must quote on the paperwork when returning the goods.

Goods must be returned 'AS SOLD' in the original packaging with all components and accessories.

Goods must be complete, unused, and in 'AS NEW' condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done so without damaging the box and packaging or damaging the product in any way) and must be re-packaged as received.

 Goods must be returned to our Returns Department within 14 days from authorization. We are unable to accept returns of un-wanted and non-faulty items after the 14 days.

Any 'FREE GIFTS' with the products must also be returned.

Please note:

You must organize the return of unwanted items at your expense and risk. Returns cannot be accepted without prior authorization and a returns authorization number. The returns authorization is valid for up to 14 days only. Goods sent back without prior returns authorization will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.

Refunds

Refunds of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and the refund authorized only after a full inspection of the goods by our Returns department to check for completeness and correct product return.

Goods received back complete as NEW and unused and in original box and packaging including all accessories and in a re-sellable condition: Will be refunded  90% of the full invoice amount less cost of delivery, also the collection cost if the Loveridges collection service is used at £24.75 (this service is offered only within the Post code areas listed within these terms and conditions.)

Goods received back not in a re-sellable condition: We are unable to accept these back under the above terms and the goods will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.

Title of good shall pass once we have received your payment in full and the goods are despatched. We will issue you with an  invoice once we have dispatched the goods. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
